Daniel Retherford, Director of Utility Support Services

Daniel Retherford is a life-long resident of Fort Pierce. He graduated from Westwood High School and then served in the United States Army, both home and abroad for 8 years. After service, he returned to Fort Pierce and attended Indian River Community College (now State College) and continued to the University of Central Florida where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Daniel is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Florida and has over 25 years serving as developers engineer and in leadership roles for local government.

The Director of Utility Support Services (DUIS) is the directorate serving Customer Service, Geographical Informational Services, Informational Technology, Facilities & Fleet, FPUAnet Fiber Services, Manatee Education and Outreach Program (MOEC), Sustainability and Business Relations. The DUSS reports directly to the DOU providing support to all Utilities.
