Barbara M. Bennett, Board Member I, Barbara M. Bennett am a native of Ft. Pierce, FL. I am the daughter of Elease and David Marshall. I have been married to Pastor Roderick D. Bennett for 34 years. We have one daughter Becquell Bennett-Robinson, two grandsons Malachi and Elijah Carroll, and two step-grand children Tobias and Tamia Robinson. The Lord called me into ministry in the late nineties, and I answered the call in 2007. I now serve gracefully working as an evangelist, co-pastor, prophetess, teacher, and counselor along with my husband at Yahweh’s Hands on Ministry Inc. By taking on several leadership roles in my community as well as in my school, each leadership role has taught me how important it is to reach students and people of all cultures. For example, the leadership roles of Board Member of FPUA, Chairperson of Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids Sakes at FKS, Chairperson for Liberty Truth & Deliverance Eloquence Department, Chairperson/Founder of New Horizons Gospel Concert, Secretary for the HOA of Paradise Park, Chairperson of the Parent Involvement Team 2010-2011 at SGA, State Chairperson for WIN (Women in NAACP), Co-Pastor of Yahweh’s Hands on Ministry Inc., and mentor of several colleagues has helped me to become the person I desire to be. I am adamant about helping the needy. I have a BA Degree in Education, and a MA Degree in Christian Education from Trinity Theological Seminary. I am currently a teacher in St. Lucie Co. Schools while continuing my education in Biblical studies to receive my Doctorate Degree. I faithfully proclaim a word from the Lord that emphasizes commitment, service, sacrifice, and restoration. Through preaching, teaching, evangelizing, and counseling, I strive daily to enrich, challenge, and inspire the hearts and souls of my community and the students that I teach.
