The National Hurricane Center (www.nhc.noaa.gov/#Dorian) reported that Hurricane Dorian has strengthened to a Category 3 storm with maximum sustained winds of 115 miles per hour. FPUA has prepared our facilities and systems in preparation for the storm and impacts we may experience. Additionally, through the Florida Municipal Electric Association, FPUA has activated Mutual Aid Assistance for additional crews to arrive as soon as safely possible to help during the restoration process.
